Go away winter.
I'm ready for summer, yardsale, fleamarkets & estate sale!

And more roadside hunts.

Hand painted and stenciled signs

Some husbands just need a little hint. Here is some of my handpainted and stenciled "Always kiss me goodnight" signs. I started with some old dog ear fencing I found on the side of the road. There was about eight or ten panels of 20 boards. Wow I can make a lot of signs out of that. I got in my truck w/my husband saying O no, not again. Stacking them up at the house, I take off one board that can I cut into three 20 to 24 inches sign boards. Base paint 10 to 12 signs at a time, then stencil always kiss me goodnight, outline by hand. Then to the drillpress to drill my holes for my wire. Well that was a lot of fun - I mean Work

I have to show you what I've been recycling. A bonus box lot full of old wristwatch boxes. The gears in my head started turning, ok what can I do with them? I've got a box of old sheet music that I've tried to thro away a few time, and I just couldn't do it. Now see...... what if.

With a few cut out photos and a few buttons I have these great mixed media memory boxes. I have listed these on my ebay page. You can go to under my user name- Sugers.

The one of the little girl with yellow buttterfly wings is my older sister. She is 10 yrs older than me. She's just the cutest little brat, I think she was already plotting then how to steal her little sis's school snacks. LOL The others are magazine cut outs. I plan to use other photo copys of my family on the other boxes that came out of this boxlot.

Thanks for looking, come back and see me, have a cup of coffee and see what Iam doing.
